How disgusting this alleyway has become, as I note from the photo as seen with the article.

I am in my 60s now, but when a teenager, we all used it to get to a youth club near the steps to Grove Road.

Times certainly change.

I hope something is done, regardless to it being private as the article states.

Surely the council can arrange this to be done – after all, don’t they do compulsory buying of property of which I have read in the newspaper in the past.

Perhaps compulsory buying of the alleyway.

If the council wish our town to stay safe with health considered, this place should be part of any debate about this and our town.
