Time to address traffic queues

It's time the council sat down with ESCC highways to sort out the endless and unnecessary daily queues in Old London Road down to the seafront.

Once on the seafront the problem vanishes, so it’s clearly to do with the ludicrous number of traffic lights (five sets on a stretch of A259 the length of the High Street) or the completely random sequencing of those lights.

We’ve long known that ESCC doesn’t give a hoot for the roads in Hastings, so it’s up to our representatives to hold them to account.
