Good news as food hygiene ratings awarded to nine Horsham establishments

A Food Standards Agency rating sticker on a window of a restaurant in central London. A huge variation in food hygiene standards remains across the UK, with one in five high or medium-risk food outlets failing to meet standards, according to a study.

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to nine of Horsham’s establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them all.

Restaurants, cafes and canteens

The following ratings have been given to six restaurants, cafes or canteens:

• Rated 5: GAIL's Horsham at Gail'S Horsham, 46 Carfax, Horsham; rated on July 17

• Rated 5: Pizza Express at 19 - 23 East Street, Horsham; rated on July 17

• Rated 5: League of Friends Tea Bar at Horsham Hospital, Hurst Road, Horsham; rated on July 10

• Rated 5: Goodness Henfield at Shop Jasmine House, High Street, Henfield; rated on July 4

• Rated 5: Roffey Griddle at 16 Fitzalan Road, Horsham; rated on July 4

• Rated 5: Wagamama at 20 - 22 East Street, Horsham; rated on June 28

Pubs, bars and nightclubs

And one rating has been handed to a pub, bar or nightclub:
