Pulses are set to race across Hastings this Saturday (August 24) as Tango Unchained brings the dramatic and dazzling art of Argentine Tango to the streets.

Two live tango demonstrations and lessons from Ragroof Theatre (1.30pm, town centre; 3.30pm, Old Town) will be followed by a tango extravaganza at the Stade Open Space at 7.30pm, with a live set from Tango 3, with singer Corina Piatti, and DJ Kirsty Bennett.

Mandy Curtis, director of 18Hours, which is producing the event, said: “Ragroof Theatre will be giving ad-hoc lessons and we’ve heard that quite a few Tango groups will be coming along to join in, so there will be plenty of opportunities for Tango dabblers, experts and absolute beginners alike to have a dance.”
