Following an emphatic debut at the Brass Monkey less than a fortnight ago, The Cavaliers go into their second show at The Clarence on April 4, on a high, with an expansive repertoire ready to satisfy the demands of local music lovers.

The band, comprising of Alex Rumble on vocals, Christian Ward on bass, Patrick Thompson on guitar, Matt Lewis on keys and Jonathan Royston-Claire on drums boast a wealth of experience, Rumble, Ward and Royston-Claire in particular enjoying national recognition with the bands The Auteur, Futures and Youngplan, respectively.

Bassist Ward said “It’s a great that we can draw on our unique and vast experience. It means we’re able to deliver songs to a standard that creates the best possible experience for our audience.”

This will be their only appearance in Hastings in April so be sure to make the most of the opportunity to see one of the most exciting new covers bands to emerge from the burgeoning local scene in recent months.

The Cavaliers will be playing classic and modern upbeat pop/rock/indie and soul from 9pm-11pm at The Clarence, Middle Street, Hastings. Entry is free.
