Local singing group ‘Friends Unlimited’ perform a concert to raise funds for Bluebell Ridge Cat Rehoming Centre next weekend (Saturday March 5) at Hastings Museum and Art Gallery, Bohemia Road, Hastings at 11am.

‘Friends Unlimited’, formed fifteen years ago, initially presented civic Christmas concerts. Throughout their time, the three-part harmony group have supported over twenty local organisations, raising large amounts of cash.

The twelve singers say they are “delighted” to be presenting a new ‘Friends in Song’ concert to support Bluebell Ridge.

The concert features an evening of choral entertainment, including a performance of ‘Orpheus in the Underground’, ‘Hallelujah’ and a tribute to Sir Terry Wogan with ‘Floral Dance’.

Tickets £6 each to include interval refreshments. There will also be a raffle. Money raised from the concert will go towards cats and dogs in the charity’s care. Each year Bluebell Ridge has to raise over £150,000. A separate charity within the national body of the RSPCA, Bluebell Ridge is entirely self- finance, relying on the support of the public to continue its vital work. For more information visit:
