Fairlight Hall’s ‘Lunch and A Lecture Series 2016’ begins on Friday April 15 with a talk by the renowned Charles Dowding called ‘No dig for abundant crops and less weeding’. Charles has been growing no dig, organic vegetables since 1983, and by the end of the decade his market garden covered eleven acres.
Tickets £40 to include the talk, a guided tour of the gardens, a 2 course lunch and time to talk informally to Mr Dowding. For tickets visit: www.fairlighthall.co.uk. Every ticket sold contributes to supporting the WRAGS (www.wrags) scheme encouraging people back to work by gaining valuable hands on experience in the gardens leading to further professional training or employment. This year’s series of talks from April-November includes gardeners, writers on food, art and life.
