Pupils from the East Sussex School of Performing Arts will sing with the stars in Adam Hepkin’s The Magic of the Musicals at the De La Warr Pavilion on Sunday June 14 at 7.30pm.
They will be featured in the choir supporting musical theatre stars Ruthie Henshall, Keith Jack, Julie Atherton and Bexhill’s own Zoë Doano.
Zoë trained at ESSPA from age 5-18, and after drama school she joined the Andrew Lloyd Webber tour of The Sound of Music with Connie Fisher, and played Frenchie in Grease. She joined the cast of’ Les Miserables’ and was Cosette opposite Alfie Boe. Zoe then joined the touring cast of High Society and is currently playing Joanna in Sweeney Todd. Zoë returns to London in Les Miserables as Cosette from June 15.
ESSPA’s ex-pupils are pretty busy - Oliver Metzler is in Wicked in the West End, Adam Dale Smith is performing in Mallorca, Emma Webb is performing in ‘Burall’s Yard’ Fringe Theatre in Bath, Mollie Tucker starred as Snow White at the Leatherhead Theatre, Lauren Douglin has her first professional shoot for a TV drama for Sky and Sam Coleman has landed a leading role in the feature film of the ‘Texas Chainsaw Massacre’ entitled ‘Leatherface’.
