“There are some great individual songs showing off Hastings’ budding young talent and we are so very proud of The Baird Primary Academy and Christ Church CE Primary Academy children for joining in. They wrote some great collaborative class songs which talk about Lockdown and leaving school.”

Susanna Longley, trustee, added: “It’s a huge challenge for anyone to write a song – to dream up a melody and find the right words. On top of that, try performing your work in front of friends, family and even people you don’t know! For many of those entered here, it is the first time they have written and recorded a song. We are so proud of all of them and their creations.”

Voting closes midnight Friday 24th July. Winner announced Saturday 25th. The winner will have their song professional recorded by YiaYia Recording Studio.
