Having won 4-2 against Hailsham in the Sussex Plate and drawn 1-1 with Folkestone seconds in a friendly over the past couple of weekends, the real stuff will get underway with a home game against Penguin.

The Worthing-based outfit finished two places and seven points below Saxons last term. Saxons were 9-4 winners in the corresponding fixture last November and the return during February ended in a 4-4 draw.

Sam Bunday, Oscar Rogers and Pete Watters are unavailable, but Cornish maintains the squad possesses sufficient depth to cover for their absence. Push-back at Horntye Park Sports Complex is 1.30pm.

There are three new teams in the division for 2011/12. Eastbourne seconds have been relegated from above, while Horsham seconds and Hailsham firsts have come up from Sussex Open League Division Two.
