Super Saxons in seventh heaven

South Saxons returned to winning ways with a 7-0 victory at home to Eastbourne II on Saturday.

Saxons’ best performance of the season so far moved them up to second place in South Hockey League Sussex Area - Division One.

Their captain Paddy Cornish said: “It was a very good performance from everyone really and it was good not to concede, especially playing this new formation with only two at the back.”
