SIDLEY HOPE TO BREAK DUCK

SIDLEY will be gunning for their first win of the Sussex Cricket League season away to promotion hopefuls East Grinstead on Saturday (June 8).

Although the Division Two side have lost all four games, the signs of a revival are growing stronger.

Skipper Peter King said: "I don't think there are any outstanding teams in this league, it comes down to who performs on the day and at the moment we keep coming out second best.

"We've dropped vital catches in three of our matches, including Sam Roberts at Bexhill, and those players have gone on to score well. "East Grinstead are a decent side but Bexhill beat them and if we perform to our capabilities we'll give them a good game."

Sidley will be without the in-form Tyrone Wildman but King should be fully fit to bowl again after only managing a brief spell in his last game.
