Rocks boss: We deserved a point

A TYPICAL game of two halves left the Rocks deflated after their weekend heroics '“ and believing they were unlucky to come away from Bromley without a point.

Their first-half display at the Clive Christian Stadium was flat and they went in a goal down at the break after conceding a 43rd-minute penalty.

But they came out all guns blazing in the second half and Jahson Downes, Nathan Lynch and Kane Wills all went close to getting the goal their play deserved.

Boss Darin Killpartrick said the team were 'very down' afterwards.

"We didn't start and it wasn't a good first half for us. And we've explained to them they can't afford displays like that.

"We'd have been happy with 0-0 at the break but were much better after the break.

"We got Scott and Kane on the ball more and created chances, but didn't have luck in front of goal."
