Rebels waiting for luck to change

WORTHING Football Club must be wondering what they need to do to register their first league win of the season after they felt robbed of all three points by a late Carshalton equaliser on Saturday.

With just six minutes to go, Worthing substitute Tom Lawley fired an unstoppable 30-yard shot past Carshalton keeper Paul Seuke for his second goal of the season.

However, within two minutes, Carshalton levelled through Dan Platel although Rebels were unhappy the goal was allowed to stand. Worthing boss Danny Bloor said: "It was a definite foul on Ben Andrews in the build up to their goal which was unfortunate for us but when you are down at the bottom, this type of thing happens."
