The race will start at 10.30am outside the Town Hall and head onto the seafront before finishing back at the Town Hall.

Arguably the premier five-mile race in Sussex and a Sussex Grand Prix event to boot, it attracts a host of leading runners from inside and outside the county.

And as the course is flat, it is also perfect for first time racers, slower runners looking for a personal best or those just out to have a gentle five-mile jog.

Walkers are welcome as well and all finishers will receive a bespoke 10th anniversary commemorative medal.

Entry forms are available from Priory Meadow Shopping Centre and sport shops or they can be downloaded from www.hastingsrunners.org.uk

Online entry is available at www.runnersworld.co.uk and www.runbritain.com. The entry limit is 500 so it is advisable to enter early.

Proceeds will go to St Michael’s Hospice, which has so far received £28,000 from the race.
