Perfect 10 for goal-hungry Saxons

South Saxons got their South Hockey League Sussex Area - Division One season off to a flying start.

The runners-up for the past two campaigns pulled off a crushing 10-4 victory against Penguin at a scorching Horntye Park Sports Complex on Saturday.

Saxons were actually 2-0 down after 15 minutes and had Toby Reed yellow carded for arguing with the umpire, but fought their way back to lead 3-2 at half time and went on to dominate the second period.
