The event was held across Saturday and Sunday with runners selecting a flat and fast route and uploading their results on to a live results management system which kept everyone guessing on the eventual winner.

With the announcement from England Athletics last week that all road racing would be suspended until at least the end of July, virtual races have enabled people across to country to take part in competitive organised events while adhering to social distancing guidelines.

Despite the uncertainty surrounding future fixtures for 2020 one thing is for sure; Hastings AC’s calendar will not remain empty.
