NORFOLK HIT THE TOP
NORFOLK took over the leadership of the Littlehampton Gazette Bowls League, following two substantial wins in the past week.
They were 81-58 victors over Field Place, with Ron Smith, Eddie Lockett and Ron Johnson all taking their rinks.
Norfolk then defeated Pavilion 84-67. Matt Bonnar saw off Dave Thomas 34-7, with Lockett and Johnson keeping their winning runs going. The run was stopped in summary fashion by promoted Crablands, who produced a 72-61 whitewash, although the biggest losing rink margin was just six shots.
