MUD-BATH DERBY GETS ABANDONED
TORRENTIAL RAIN was the winner of the local derby between Arundel and Wick on Saturday.
With 62 minutes played, referee Boris Erguven decided the Mill Road pitch, looking like a mud bath, was no longer playable and called the game off.
It is the fifth time the two sides have met this season and Wick are unbeaten against their near-neighbours so far '” and were on course to beat them again on Saturday.
