Kate shows she is a star in the making
CRAWLEY rider Kate Goodson has earned a coveted place at the Horse of the Year Show where she will take part in South Essex Insurance Brokers' Search For A Star finals.
She qualified at Badgworth Equestrian Centre, Somerset, facing strong competition.
Kate rode her seven-year-old bay mare, Seabourne Swansong, in the show hunter class. She bought the mare as a two-year-old and brought her on and schooled her herself,
"I wanted a horse to enjoy and to show and was able to progress her slowly and in the way I wanted," she said.
