Furthering the art of farriery

A unique farriery enterprise, based near Horsham, is currently leading the way in Europe with its expertise and knowledge in equine soundness.

Total Foot Protection Ltd, based at Bridge House Farm, Five Oaks Road, Horsham, not only has a team of farriers each running their own rounds, but also supplies the needs of farriers across Europe.

It has a huge stock of every possible type of shoe for a horse and pony, and also all farriery equipment.The company also runs educational programmes for farriers, veterinary surgeons and horse owners throughout the UK and Europe.

The farriery practice was founded in 1990 with the aim of furthering the art and science of modern farriery, providing a professional practice and increasing equine soundness.

David Nicholls, Mark Spriggs and Mike Williams have a collective experience of 94 years to their credit and were founding members of the practice, having run their own farrier businesses successfully prior to that and continuing with them today.
