Four-goal Saxons scatter Crows

South Saxons kept their outside title hopes alive with a 4-1 win away to Crowborough on Saturday.

The result means Saxons remain four points behind South Hockey League Sussex Area - Division One leaders Horsham II with five matches to go.

Saxons captain Paddy Cornish said: “It was fairly comfortable. We never really looked like losing it once we got ahead. Second half we let ourselves go a little bit, but overall it was pretty good.”
