Westfield finish with away draw

Westfield finished their season with a 2-2 draw away to Midhurst & Easebourne on Saturday.

Ross Williams and Gordon Cuddington were on target for a Westfield side which came 12th in the Sussex County Football League Division Two table.

Westfield were the only one of the area’s five Sussex County League clubs in action at the weekend. Bexhill United and Little Common had already finished, while Rye United and Sidley United play their last games next weekend.

Rye remain second in Division One, although Lancing closed to within a point of them via a 5-2 success at home to Pagham. The top three are now separated by just two points.
