Hastings United are expecting their all-ticket FA Cup second round replay at home to Harrogate Town on Thursday to be a sellout.
The capacity has been set at 4,000 and more than 1,500 tickets were sold within a day of them going on general sale.
United chairman Dave Walters said: “We knew it was going to be very busy and a big crowd, but it’s taken us aback. To sell 1,500 plus tickets on the first day of going on general sale is incredible. It really looks like it will be a sellout and probably before the night.”
Walters is thankful to Sellens French Accountants, Smart Property Solutions, Deeks Evans Accountants and Green Insurance Group for assisting with the sales.
As of yesterday (Thursday) morning, the free tickets for under-21s had sold out and tickets for the main stand had virtually all gone. Other tickets will be on sale at The Pilot Field from 1-5pm tomorrow (Saturday) when
United host Concord Rangers in the Ryman League Premier Division and 10am-12noon on Sunday.
The club will be opening the car park at The Firs for a fee of £5 which will include a matchday programme. In line with FA rules, no alcohol will be served during the game.
