United pick up point at Harrow

Hastings United fought out a 1-1 draw away to Harrow Borough on Saturday.

Both goals in an evenly contested Ryman Football League Premier Division came in the final 20 minutes with United taking the lead only for Harrow to respond swiftly.

There were chances at either end during the first half, Jack Dixon and Fred Foreman going closest for United with efforts saved by the goalkeeper.

After Arron Hopkinson went off with a possible dislocated shoulder, Ross Sutton put United ahead with a 20-yard free kick - his first goal for the club. But JJ Bates levelled in the 76th minute and honours finished even.
