United get the better of Bridges

HASTINGS United continued their pre-season preparations with a 2-0 win away to Ryman League newboys Three Bridges.

Fielding a stronger line-up to the one that went down by the same scoreline at Faversham Town four days previously, Hastings opened their account just past the half hour.

Lee Carey, the newly-appointed club captain, made no mistake from the penalty spot after Dee Okojie had been brought down.
