Sidley United's game at Lingfield today is subject to a morning pitch inspection

Lingfield posted a message on social network site Twitter yesterday evening saying “Pitch inspection due at 9am. Looks like another game will fall pray to the weather.”

Both teams were victorious in their most recent outings with Sidley winning 2-1 at home to Lancing on Thursday night and Lingfield triumphing 4-1 at Dorking Wanderers on Tuesday thanks to a hat-trick from ex-Brighton & Hove Albion striker Nicky Forster.

As of last night there were no pitch inspections planned for today’s other games involving the area’s senior clubs, but further updates will appear on this website later in the morning.

Hastings United are due to visit East Thurrock United in the Ryman Football League Premier Division and Rye United host Selsey in Sussex Division One. Little Common entertain Littlehampton Town, Bexhill United go to Newhaven and Westfield are away to Saltdean United in Sussex Division Two.
