Both grounds passed initial inspections this morning (Saturday), but persistent rain late in the morning has left the pitches waterlogged, resulting in the Sussex County Football League Division One games being postponed.

They join the Sussex Division Two matches between Bexhill United and Newhaven, and Little Common and Wick in being called-off. Hastings United’s reserve team fixture away to Camberley Town also won’t be taking place.

There is some good news, however, because Hastings United versus Leiston and Westfield’s visit from Seaford Town are on at the moment. Both games are due to kick-off at 3pm.
