Search for striker intensifies after Hoskins breaks his foot
The 26-year-old is expected to be out for as long as six weeks, meaning Poyet is in desperate need for attacking reinforcements.

Apart from that pair, Norwegian prospect Torbjørn Agdestein has featured regularly during the club’s warm up games and could provide an alternative option if a new striker does not arrive in time for the start of the season.
In other news, the Albion enjoyed a friendly 3v0 win over Worthing last night, with goals from Adam El Abd, Kazenga Lua Lua and George Baker. Attention now turns to the match with Champions League winners Chelsea at The Amex on Saturday afternoon, for which there are still tickets available.
Brighton are still apparantly in the dark over the future of young defender Grant Hall who has not signed a new deal and appeared for Premier League Tottenham Hotspur in a recent friendly.
