As reported by www.hastingsunitedfc.co.uk, the popular and prolific striker has become Terry White’s fourth signing since taking over the managerial reins last weekend.

Sawyer is set to begin his third spell at The Pilot Field after leaving fellow Ryman Football League Division One South side Tooting & Mitcham United. He could be involved in the squad which hosts Walton & Hersham tonight (Monday) assuming his transfer documents go through in time.

Sawyer first joined United in November 2007 and last turned out for the club in December 2010. He has scored 21 goals in 71 appearances, five of them during a memorable victory at home to Billericay Town in October 2008.

He scored 13 goals for Tooting this term, including a spectacular effort in their 3-1 defeat away to United in the autumn. Sawyer follows Josh Jirbandey, Tom O’Connor and Josh Oyinsan in joining United over the past week.
