Academic principal Michael Shaw said: “It has been a fantastic few years for the Football Academy here at Buckswood. Despite the recent challenges posed by Covid, we were able to win our second national cup this year and it seems like all the support and professional coaching our students have received in recent times is really starting to bear fruit.

“It is rewarding to see so many of our recent students go on to forge a career in the sport, numbers we are very proud of for a small school like ours.”

Buckswood is a day and international boarding school, for boys and girls aged 11-18.

The school run a very successful boys and girls football academy, headed by UEFA qualified coaches.
