Rye on their travels again

Rye United have received another away draw in the last 16 of the FA Vase.

The Quarterboys will travel to Hemel Hempstead to face Leverstock Green - their sixth away draw in seven rounds - on Saturday February 12.

Leverstock are sixth in the Molten Spartan South Midlands League Premier Division - a league topped by Chalfont St Peter, the team which Rye knocked out in round two.

They won 4-1 at home to Bemerton Heath Harlequins in round four on Saturday - their sixth successive victory. That run also includes a 3-1 win over Tunbridge Wells in round three.

Sussex County League Division One high-flyers Rye won 3-0 away to Koolsport NCEL Division One leaders Staveley Miners Welfare on Saturday thanks to goals from Paul Tuppenney, Scott Ramsay and Sam Cole.
