After two draws and two defeats in their first four Sussex County Football League Division One matches at The Salts this term, Rye broke their duck with a 3-1 success against Selsey.

Selsey made the long journey to The Salts having won five of their last six league games, but they were two-down inside 14 minutes after Andy Atkin gave Rye a fourth minute lead and Olly Lockyer doubled their advantage 11 minutes later.
