Rye United will take on Shoreham in Sussex County Football League Division One, while Bexhill United will face Broadbridge Heath in a Sussex RUR Charity Cup second round tie.

With no other Sussex Division One games scheduled for tonight, Rye have the chance to move up three places to sixth if they can get the better of a Shoreham side which is five positions and four points worse off.

Rye go into the game buoyed by a 3-1 victory over Selsey on Saturday, which was their first home league win of the season. Shoreham, by contrast, suffered a 4-1 loss at home to Horsham YMCA. Andy Atkin is a doubt for Rye having limped off against Selsey. Kick-off at The Salts is 7.30pm.

Bexhill will also be in good spirits following their 5-0 thrashing of bottom club Midhurst & Easebourne in Sussex Division Two on Saturday, which put a stop to a couple of disappointing results before that.

But they will face a stern test against a Heath side which is six places and five points above them in the league. Heath have also netted 11 goals without reply in their last two outings. Kick-off at The Polegrove is 7.45pm.
