Over the next few weeks the club will be releasing three new bespoke kits which they say symbolise the club, the supporters and the town in their #AllTheSmoke range.

The deal means a partnership with a former player who is now Senior Sports Marketing Director at Nike, Rich Callaway.

Callaway said, "I have fantastic memories of my time at the Pilot Field - not only were the club and supporters very special but many friendships among the players have lasted a lifetime.

"Consequently, I'm now delighted to be able to play a very tiny role in the future success of the current team as they progress next season and beyond with the announcement that Hastings are partnering up with Nike for the next couple of seasons. The fit is perfect; a premium brand working with a premium club.”

Alongside Nike, Kitlocker will be the club’s distribution partner - they are regarded as one of the market leaders in the UK.

HUFC CEO Billy Wood said: “This is a major step for the club as we position ourselves with a global partner in Nike. The swoosh is recognisable worldwide and aligns with our desire to put Hastings United on the map.

"We are excited to launch the first range, branded by us as #AllTheSmoke which will highlight the mood and connection this club is having with a wider generation of supporter. Thank you to Rich and Josh at Nike and Lee and Tom at Kitlocker who have worked hard to make sure Hastings United’s next steps are undeniable when it comes to kit and sportswear apparel.”

Hastings United thanked Macron and Super Stitch 86 for their support as supplier over the years.
