Hastings United’s scheduled trip to East Thurrock United in the Ryman Football League Premier Division has been called-off, along with Sidley United’s game at Lingfield in Sussex County Football League Division One, which has been cancelled due to snow.

Also postponed are the Sussex Division Two fixtures between Little Common and Littlehampton Town, Newhaven and Bexhill United, and Saltdean United and Westfield. But Rye United’s match at home to Selsey in Sussex Division One is still on.

Rye’s official Twitter account just posted a message saying: “I think Rye v Selsey is still on. The messages I’ve had are a bit cryptic but it appears to be going ahead.”

The Hastings game has already been rearranged for Thursday April 25, two days before the end of their league campaign. The U’s will play 12 matches in 27 days next month during a crazy finish to the season.

As for the reserve teams, Hastings’ visit from Leatherhead in Suburban League Premier B is off and so is Rye’s trip to Pagham in Sussex County League Reserve Section (Premier). In Reserve Section (East), Bexhill versus Southwick has been postponed, Sidley’s game at home to Seaford Town has been switched to Seaford and Westfield are also fixtureless because AFC Uckfield have withdrawn.
