The Magpies will be looking to add some more silver to their nest when they face Eastbourne Town in the final tonight.

Cocoracchio’s side will again travel to Culver Road and look to put their Sussex Senior Cup disappointment of last month behind them.

He said: “It’s been a really eventful season. In the Sussex Senior Cup, we got to the semi-final and when Burgess Hill have said they feel that they have done well to get that far, with what they have achieved this season, that says a lot.

“It’s great to have a cup run and even better to get to the final, the whole club is looking forward to it and we hope we can bring home the silverware.”

On their opponents, who were tipped for an immediate return to the Ryman League this season, Cocoracchio added: “What brings confidence, although we are taking nothing for granted, is that we played them in the league a few weeks ago and put in a very good performance and won.

“Like anything however, it’s how you play and perform on the stage on the night. I fancy our chances, but they will fancy theirs as well so it should be a very good game.”
