Magic Matt can’t stop scoring

Matt Maclean continued his amazing early season scoring form for Rye United last night (Tuesday).

The attacking midfielder scored both goals in the 2-0 win at Crowborough Athletic and has now bagged eight of the nine goals Rye have scored this term.

Also in Sussex County Football League Division One, Sidley United lost 4-1 away to Ringmer with Jason Taylor netting the consolation.

Westfield made it three draws out of three in Division Two after their match at Seaford Town ended 2-2. David Pugh and Gordon Cuddington were on target.

Little Common suffered their first defeat in the same division with a 3-1 reverse away to early leaders Newhaven. Jared Lusted scored Common’s goal early on.
