The first round qualifying clash takes place a day later than normal due to landlords Horsham YMCA being at home in league action on Saturday.

Dominic Di Paola is expecting a tough test against a side who knocked out Molesey in the last round.

That task will be made harder with Tony Nwachukwu struggling with a knee problem and Darren Boswell still not back to 100 per cent fitness.

Defender Dan Sackman remains with a 50/50 chance of making the game, while Lewis Hyde is a doubt after straining a hamstring last weekend.

Di Paola is hopeful striker Terry Dodd will be fit despite suffering a calf injury last weekend, but Ollie Gill remains sidelined along with long-term absentees Adam Hunt, who is set for a Christmas return, and Mark Knee, who is five or six weeks away from running.

The manager said: “It’s infuriating that we cannot get a full strength side out because I feel we could kick on now if we could.

“We have got a decent squad now, but just can’t get them out on the pitch at the same time.”

Prize money of £2,700 is at stake and on their opponents, Di Paola added: “They are in the bottom half, but I do not know the state of that league at the moment. Again, we have not been able to watch them going into it.

“But I think they will be a typical Ryman League team with three of four players of real quality and the rest good. They have done really well in the cups already and the fact we have players missing does not help.”
