Hollington United make 'two massive signings'

Hollington United have made two 'massive signings' and they will be an 'instant hit' according to boss Scott Price.

The Lions host Lindfield on Saturday, looking to make it three wins out of three in the Mid Sussex League, and they have strengthened the team with Wes Tate and Matt Maclean.

Tate has signed from Sedlescombe and Matt Maclean dual signed from Saltdean United.

Hollington United beat Sporting Lindfield - picture special

Price said: "For me it’s two massive signings who will bring experience, that winning mentality and goals.

"Having worked with both at Rye Utd and Eastbourne Utd it’s a pleasure to finally get them at Hollington. Both will be an instant hit with our supporters too."

Although Lindfield lost their first game against Sidley, they managed to beat Sedlescombe Rangers last weekend. Lindfield go into the game in seventh place with three points.

Hollington are top with six points from their opening two games.

Hollington will be glad to have Ricky Martin back from suspension and Andy Corrigan and Matt Maclean in the squad. Dan Kearley and Ben Radley may still be out injured.

Kick off is at 2pm at Gibbons memorial field.
