Stokes suffered a fracture to the skull following an accidental clash of heads in their win against Sedlescombe on Saturday.

And now Price said the club will do all they can to support him and praised physio Jules Lovell.

He said: "It was a very good win yesterday after last week's shambles. After hitting the woodwork no fewer than seven times we thoroughly deserved the win and I think the scoreline flattered them.

"But more importantly we now have lost our keeper who in my opinion is the best keeper in intermediate football. We at the club will do all we can to support him and help him get through it.

"Massive well done to our physio Jules Lovell who acted quickly and made sure he was sent to hospital straight away."
