Hollington United keeper suffers serious head injury in accidental clash
Hollington United's goalkeeper Elliot Stokes has suffered a fracture to his skull following an accidental clash in their match with Sedlescombe.
The club confirmed the injury by tweeting: "The club can confirm that goalkeeper Elliot Stokes has suffered a fracture to his skull after an accidental clash in yesterday’s game. I’m sure you all join us wishing Ells a speedy recovery."
Boss Scott Price tweeted: "Speedy recovery Ells."
And Jack Stapley replied: "Speedy recovery Elliot. A very good keeper but more importantly a good lad."
