Places have quickly been snapped up with fans eager to cheer on the U’s in their hotly anticipated Ryman Football League Division One South play-off semi-final.

United scraped into the play-offs in dramatic fashion on Saturday. Although the U’s won 1-0 in their final game of the regular season at home to Crawley Down Gatwick, that wouldn’t have been enough for them to make it had Burgess Hill Town won their match at Sittingbourne.

The Hillians looked to be firmly on course to clinch the all-important final play-off spot of fifth when leading 2-0 going into the last 20 minutes, but a brace of goals from Joe Taylor, including a 90th minute equaliser, salvaged an unlikely point for Sittingbourne.

The winners of United’s tie away to Folkestone - which kicks-off at 7.45pm - will meet the winners of the clash between Leatherhead and Guernsey in the final on Saturday. The winners of that will be promoted to the Premier Division for next season.
