Goal tally is a perfect ten at Midhurst
Saltdean arrived with only one point to their name - that one having come from a 1-1 draw with Midhurst on the opening day.
A good crowd saw Sean Dummer give the hosts the lead on six minutes with a well-placed shot beyond Graham Leach. But Midhurst relaxed and Elliott Quant equalised - only for Rob Wimble to restore the home side’s lead on 16 minutes.

Martin May set up Gary Norgate to put Midhurst 3-2 up - all this with only a quarter of the game gone.
Luke Sheldrick put a shot beyond Leach to give the hosts some daylight and as the visitors wilted, Norgate and Lewis Hamilton made it six.
Saltdean weren’t giving up easily and a Davis penalty signalled another fightback, but the Stags ended up two-goal victors.
