The former Dartford star has spent the past couple of months training with the Us and playing for their U23s, impressing and scoring some spectacular goals along the way.

Hastings boss Chris Agutter said: “I am delighted we have been able to tie down a very talented, local, young and hungry player in Max.

"He has featured for our U23’s a number of times towards the backend of the season, in those appearances he was outstanding and if you couple that with his excellent pedigree with National League South side Dartford it makes Max a very exciting addition to our group."

Billy Wood, United's CEO, added: “It’s always great to bring in hard-working and determined individuals, Max has an abundance of talent and we are happy to have agreed terms on a contract with him.”
