The Commoners will host second-placed Storrington in Macron Store Southern Combination Football League Division One tomorrow (Saturday, 3pm) and leaders Oakwood in a Peter Bentley Challenge Cup third round tie on Tuesday night (7.15pm).

Common player-manager Russell Eldridge said: “Obviously being at home doesn’t guarantee anything, but we know we’ll be able to play on a quality surface.

“Storrington are going well and we have to respect them for where they are, but it’s important we try to get back to winning ways in the league because we’ve only picked up one point in our last three games.

“Oakwood are going well too, but we’ve got to make sure we use our home advantage. To get into the quarter-final would be a good achievement.”

Paul Feakins, Martin Denny, Dom Bristow, Billy Trickett and Dan Estherby should return tomorrow, but Zack McEniry (ankle) is 50-50, Steve Mote completes his suspension, and Liam Foster and Kyle Holden will be with Hastings United under-21s.
