Rye United are away to St Francis Rangers, Westfield make the long journey to Arundel and Little Common entertain Lancing in round two of the league’s knockout competition.

Rye’s tie is a repeat of their game on the opening day of the Division One season which ended in a 2-2 draw. Gregg Berry and an own goal made up Rye’s tally that day in a match where both teams had a player sent-off in the first half.

St Francis have picked up four points from four league games, while Rye have taken seven from the same number of matches. Berry is banned tonight and Ben Billings is out through injury, while Andy Atkin is struggling. Kick-off is 7.30pm.

Westfield will be aiming to put their disappointing start to the season behind them as they take on an Arundel side which lies third in Division One with nine points from a possible 12.

After such an encouraging pre-season which included beating Hastings United and drawing with Eastbourne Town, Westfield have gained just one point from their first four Division Two fixtures and were beaten 4-1 by Common in their last outing on Bank Holiday Monday. Kick-off is 7.45pm.

Common will be eager to atone for Saturday’s irritating league loss at home to Wick & Barnham United when they threw away 2-0 and 3-1 leads to see their four-match winning run come to an end.

Lancing have taken four points from four Division One outings. Kick-off at the Recreation Ground is 7.15pm and you can get updates from the match by following @SimonNewstead on Twitter.
