Bexhill held by basement boys

Bexhill United were held to a goalless draw at home to bottom club Seaford Town last night (Tuesday).

The result ended Bexhill’s four-match winning run, but they do at least remain unbeaten in five games since Darrol Parris took sole charge in mid-January.

A draw was the right result in a dull affair of few chances with Seaford probably the better side in the first half and Bexhill looking the more likely in the second.

Bexhill’s best chance of the Sussex County Football League Division Two fixture came in the 24th minute when Casey Ham’s goalbound shot was blocked by Lewis Parsons.
