Eight-goal Saxons crush Crawley

South Saxons remain in title contention following an 8-0 win at home to Crawley II on Saturday.

But they didn’t get the favour they were hoping for from elsewhere as fourth-placed Penguin were thumped 9-1 at home to leaders Horsham II, who stay four points clear.

After a frustrating 20 minutes before opening the scoring, Saxons found themselves two-up at half time through George Eldridge and Will Orr, pictured.
