CSKA are chasing Angmering old Boys

CSKA WORTHING continued to pile on the pressure at the top of the Worthing Sunday Leisure Leagues Premier Division, after a stunning 6-0 victory over Black Dragons.

Angmering Old Boys are still five points clear at the top, though, after a 1-0 win over FMT United. Fulsea United sneaked through 2-1 against FC Delboys, and Goal-den Boys overcame Preston Blades Seniors 2-0.

In Division 1, Pathetic Athletic romped home 7-0 over Sussex County Windows and, in the big clash at the top, leaders Ronaldinho Wreckheads were held to a 1-1 draw by nearest rivals Team Elite.

Disunited are rooted to the foot of the table but the claimed an excellent 3-1 win over MJ Dons, while Durrington United are handily placed after a 4-2 win over No Prawn Sandwiches.

SH Serbians were the big winners of the day in the second division and eased through 5-0 against Athletico Worthing, butLiquid Loung dried up Jiminez United in a 3-0 triumph to go top of the table.

In Division 3, Disco Rebels found the beat easy to move to with a 10-0 demolition of Whatcha Talking About Willis FC, and Guild Care FC were held to a 2-2 draw by Morford.

THURSDAY

The brand new Thursday league got off to a flying start this week at Worthing Leisure Centre. County League player Josh Biggs helped Olde House Wanderers to a crushing 6-2 victory over The Rookies.

Joe Bailed starred for MJ Dons when they edged through 4-3 against FC Delboys, and Mick Barkley was in fine fettle as Goring Road Rebels held on for a hard-fought 3-2 win over Graham FC.
